You have probably read MANY times that drinking 2 gallons of water a day is a MUST.

Drinking water will help to purify and cleanse your system in a natural and healthy way. It will also help with weight management and weight loss, skin care, and wellness in general.

If you are struggling to drink that much plain water every day, here's a great way to trick your tastebuds into drinking as much water as possible, while also giving your body an extra boost of vitamins and detox.

Detox fruit infused waters are not only refreshing, but they are also rich in vitamins that help to purify your system and prepare your body for the day.

This detox water with Kiwi, Lime & Cucumber has a light sweetness to it followed by a refreshing cucumber aftertaste.

Hint: The cucumber infuses the water very quickly, so even if you’re in a hurry, at least use the cucumber for a quick, detoxifying lift!


  • Kiwi is a superfood rich in vitamin A and vitamin E, which are known to get prevent certain free radicals in the body as well as fighting off certain types of cancer. Also, we often forget that this fruit is great for flushing toxins from the colon which makes it a great option for your health and well-being as a whole.
  • Limes are also a good source of potassium, vitamins A, B, C, and D, calcium and magnesium. Limes are acidic and they help saliva break down food for better digestion. Additionally, flavonoids in limes stimulate the secretion of digestive juices. If you experience constipation, the acidity of limes can clear the excretory system and stimulate bowel activity.
  • Cucumbers prevent water retention and have anti-inflammatory properties which are great for detoxing.
  • This drink is also rich in vitamins that will do a world of good for your skin such as vitamin C, iron, calcium, vitamin K and potassium.



  • 2 Peeled kiwis (the riper the better)
  • 1 Lime 
  • ¼ Peeled cucumber
  • Crushed ice

Drop 2 sliced kiwis, 1 sliced lime and ¼ sliced, peeled cucumber in the bottom of a pitcher or fruit infuser bottle.

Cover with ice about 1/2 way through then fill to top with water. Place in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving.

You can refill the container 2-3 times before it begins to lose flavor.

Tips: If you want more flavor in your infused detox water you can mash your kiwis and strain out the seeds instead of slicing them. This will leave little bits of kiwi in the water but the flavor will be fantastic! You can also add a couple of mint leaves for extra fraîcheur.

You can also prepare your detox water in advance. Letting the fruits infuse your water for at least 24 hours will add a much stronger flavor.
